Our Programs

Super Kids
FOur first level of gymnastics, is designed specifically for our 5yo age group. These kiddos will come once a week to a 45-minute class that includes a warm-up, two different apparatuses a week (including Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor), and an ending activity! Throughout the class, they will learn the basics of gymnastics such as cartwheels, handstands, pullovers, and rolls.

Gym Kids
Like our Super Kids classes, Gym Kids is the first level of our gymnastics classes for the older kiddos and are split into two different age groups (6-7yo & 8+). These kiddos will come once a week to a 55-minute class that includes a warm-up, two different apparatuses a week (including Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor), and an ending activity! Throughout the class, they will learn the basics of gymnastics such as cartwheels, handstands, pullovers, and rolls.

Hot Shots
This class builds on skills learned in Super/Gym Kids. Progressions are a little more difficult – for example, instead of doing a bridge on a wedge, kiddos will start working on kicking over down a wedge. There are prerequisite skills required to be a Hot Shot along with the kiddo needing to know the terminology.

Firecrackers
This 85-minute class builds on skills learned in Hot Shots and is our 3rd level in our Recreational Program. They will go to 3 events a week instead of two, and work harder progressions. For example, Firecrackers have mastered a bridge kickover, so they will start working back walkovers/handsprings in this class. The last 15 minutes of class is our Muscle Minute and is geared towards strength, flexibility, and air awareness – all key in keeping gymnasts safe and excelling in the sport!

Dynamites
This 85-minute class builds on skills learned in Firecrackers and is our 4th level in our Recreational Program. Dynamites follow the same class structure as Firecrackers but will continue working on more advanced skills. Most of the time, this is the level where a gymnast will decide whether or not she wants to compete. If so, we will introduce them to gyms in the area with competitive programs. We have done this with many of our advanced students so we will make sure all of our families are taken care of!
Class Structure
Our recreational programs are grouped by ages. This assures a productive learning environment for all who attend.

Warm Up!
Our recreational classes begin with a fun warm up which includes games and cardio to get their heart rate up as well as different stretches to increase flexibility, coordination and body awareness.

Take Turns!
Each class alternates events every other week to ensure that every student gets plenty of time to learn and improve on these events.

Try It All!
Each class spends approximately 20 minutes on each of the two events so that they can learn and perfect the skills that they are working to master.

Cool Down!
We wind down the classes with our “muscle minute” portion of class. We like to cool down with fun activities to build the students’ strength and flexibility.
